
Setareh Soltanieh
Setareh was a MASc graduate research assistant at MItHRIL whose research interests broadly span Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR). While at MItHRIL, see worked on visualizing architectural projects in real-time using AR on mobile devices. This project aimed to improve public engagement for urban infrastructure developments. Her work was supported by the Ontario Association of Architects.
She previously completed my B.A.Sc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2021 at the University of Tehran. In February 2025, she successfully defended her thesis entitled “Advancing Augmented Reality: Localization Algorithm Analysis and Pre-Positioning Virtual Objects”.
